Elena offers an authentic, warm, and nonjudgmental approach to her work with clients. She enjoys working with adults and supporting them through life’s transitions, challenges, and periods of uncertainty. Elena’s approach encourages insight, self-reflection, and the exploration of patterns to support growth and meaningful change. She believes the relationship between therapist and client is central to the work, and can have a powerful and lasting impact on clients’ lives.
Elena works with clients experiencing a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, trauma, medical concerns, and caregiving or aging-related stressors. She strives to create a supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to build skills, deepen self-awareness, and strengthen their connection to themselves and others.
With a deep passion for social justice and advocacy, Elena incorporates an awareness of oppression and individual lived experiences into her work, and is committed to working with clients of all identities in a way that honors their inherent strengths and wisdom. Elena received her Master of Social Work degree from The University of Texas at Austin, where she developed a strong foundation in holistic, person-centered care. She is licensed through the state of North Carolina as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSW-A).
