LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORK ASSOCIATE

SUSANNA THOMPSON, LCSWA

A strong believer in the transformative power of the therapeutic relationship, Susanna creates a warm and compassionate environment where clients feel supported and nurtured as they explore life’s challenges and opportunities. Susanna collaborates with individuals to uncover inherent strengths and resilience that can be leveraged to create meaningful change, striving always to help individuals find greater contentment and fulfillment in their lives. Integrating elements of person-centered, cognitive behavioral, narrative, dialectical behavioral, and mindfulness-based therapeutic modalities, Susanna invites clients to use curiosity and self-compassion to better understand themselves and their established patterns.

Susanna is honored to work with adults going through life transitions, those experiencing anxiety and depression, grief and loss, acute and chronic medical issues, career challenges, and relationship concerns. She is described by clients as attuned and empathic, and she actively upholds an anti-racist and LGBTQIA2S+ affirming therapeutic stance.

Susanna received her Bachelor’s degree from Brown University and her Master’s degree in Social Work from Tulane University.
